民族高校教育在实现大众化之后,教学质量就成为了最突出的问题。教学质量是高校发展的生命线,也是社会赋予高校的使命。那么,首先要明确“教学质量”的概念问题和衡量它的标准问题。教学质量只能是每一个学校乃至每一个专业的教育质量。涉及教学质量的有三个要素,即教师的整体情况和个体的教学技能、科研能力,学生的整体素质和学习能力,学校教学管理的水平和效力。教学质量只能用该校该专业的教学目标和培养目标来衡量。强化教师专业能力和提高教学水平,提高学生的学习积极性、强化学生的自律性、树立明确的学习目标,完善教学管理体制,建立促进教学质量的教学管理机制等,是提高教学质量要解决的当务之急。理论应该反恩,实践也必须行动。

Since the popularization of ethnic higher education, the teaching quality has become one of the most prominent problems. Teaching quality is the lifeline of the development of colleges and universities, which is the mission that the society given them. Thus the concept of "teaching quality" and the standards of it should be unequivocal. The teaching quality indicates that the quality of each college or major, which includes three main essential factors as all teachers' overall force and individual teaching skills and scientific research ability, students' overall qualities and learning ability, management level and effectiveness of teaching at the college. The quality of teaching only can be judged by the teaching target and cultivating object. Thus the improvement of the teachers' professional competence and teaching skills, the improvement of students' enthusiasm in learn- ing, strengthening their self- control and establishing specific learning target, the perfection of management level and effectiveness of teaching etc. are to be a task of top priority in improving teaching quality of the higher education. The theories should be reflected and followed by action.
