山区在我国国民经济和社会发展中占有极其重要的地位和作用,发展山区县域经济是全面建成小康社会的重要任务。通过运用SWOT的分析方法,对石城县域经济发展中内在的优势（S）、劣势（W）和外在的机会（O）和威胁（T）进行综合系统分析的基础上,提出石城县今后发展县域经济中可选择的SO、WO、ST、WT战略,以期探讨山区县域经济发展的路径与模式,推动山区经济持续、快速、健康发展。

The development of county economy is a significant task in building a well-off society in an all-round way as the mountainous area plays an extremely important role in China’s national economy and social development.Adopting the method of SWOT,the paper analyzes systematically the strengths（S） and weaknesses（W） of internal condition and the opportunities（O） and threats（T） of external environment in the development of county economy of Shicheng,then makes the choices of SO,WO,ST and WT strategy to develop the economy of this county to explore the path and model of developing county economy in the mountainous area to achieve a sustainable,rapid,and sound development in the future.
