“诚”作为《中庸》的龙眼，是理解中国传统伦理精神建构的根本所在。它的三种表现形态，即本体之诚、意义之诚、生活之诚之间相互运作和相互贯通的逻辑机制，是天道与人道得以相通的保证和前提，也是天道和人道相通的呈现和表现。本体世界、意义世界和生活世界相通，天道和人道相通，天道得以贯实，人道上升为天道，获得神圣性和权威性，是中国伦理精神建构的重要特质。我们只有在自己的生活和行为中秉行这种特质，才不会从源头上污染道德，不会丧失自己安身立命的根本，从而真正体现中国传统精神的气质。

As the important core in Mean, sincerity is the essence to understand the construction of the Chinese traditional ethic spirit. Three manifestations of sincerity are that of body, sense and life. The logic and the operational mechanism between these three are the premise and guarantee of the interlink between Heaven and humanity, and also the presentation and performance between them. That ontological world, meaning world and living world interlinked, Heaven and humanity connected, Heaven can be implement, hu- manity rose to Heaven, access to the sanctity and authority, are the important aspects of construction of Chi- nese ethical spirit. Only if we act in our lives in this way, will we not pollute ethics from the source, not lose fundament for settling down, thereby truly reflecting the temperament of Chinese traditional spirit.
