This paper aims to establish an appraisal index system for city train vehicle performance based on the study of its relevant properties, with which further studies on vehicle selection and prioritization are made through the entropy weight coefficient method. The result of the study can serve as a guidance for the selection of train vehicles as well as for the dvelopment of urban railway construction.
