Given the important role of institutional design playing in China Free Trade Area （FTA）, the dispute settlement mechanism has been a hot academic issue. There are a set of formal dispute settlement mechanisms and informal dispute settlement mechanisms coexisting under the construction of China FTA, which proving the predictability for the building and development of China FTA and demonstrating the characteristics of flexibility and effectiveness in the design of this mechanism.
