The East Asian economic zone is well known for its highly integrated trade and production net-works. But the impacts of the global financial crisis in late 2008 on the regional economy exposed the limitations of this the system. During the transformation period of the world economy in the post-crisis era, the restructu- ring has been carried out quiet in China, South Korea and Japan. This paper investigates the latest trend of the East Asian production networks after the crisis. And further study how this would influence the regional eco- nomic cooperation and East Asia rebalancing. Finally, we made some discussion of such changes on the FTA con- struction.
