随着老挝成为PCT条约缔约国以及WTO成员国,老挝知识产权工作越来越受到政府重视,本文浅述了老挝的知识产权保护工作,并对老挝知识产权法律制度的发展、老挝知识产权工作现状、老挝专利与商标保护等进行了研究,并重点对老挝专利制度与中国专利制度进行了比较研究,以期为未来中老两国在知识产权领域的研究与合作提供参考依据。

With signing PCT and joining W＇IO, the government of Lao P. D. R pays more and more attention to the protection of intellectual property rights. This article introduced the legal system of intellectual property in Lao P.D.R, and analyzed the current protection situation of intellectual property rights, mainly patents and trademarks in Lao P.D.R, and focused on a comparative study between Chinese patent system end Laos patent system, to provide a reference for the future cooperation between China and Lao P.D.R in the field of intellectual property.
