吐谷浑民族迁徙的过程是与周边民族频繁交往、融合的过程,也是民族间文化交流、相互影响的过程,也促使吐谷浑文化发生了一定程度的变迁,即在保留鲜卑文化的基础上,形成了以鲜卑文化为主融入羌、汉、吐蕃、西亚文化成分的吐谷浑民族独有的文化,呈现出多元的文化特征。
