学术资本转化是创业型大学区别于传统大学的组织特性。其带来的商业文化与大学内在的学术文化构成一对矛盾，成为创业型大学的文化冲突之源。在创业型大学。商业文化与学术文化的关系最初以文化冲突的形式呈现出来，具体表现在三个方面：学术创业与教书育人、科学研究的消长；忽视基础研究，强化应用研究；创业型教师与传统型教师的对立。从学理角度而言．不仅学术文化可以也应该走向市场，而且作为一种手段的商业文化可以推动学术文化的繁荣．最终实现两者共存双赢。
