从丧服角度可以清楚地窥探到两晋母子一伦的实际状态及受重视程度。晋代礼家在对庶子为所生、子为出母、子为嫁母应否服丧以及服丧的规格等礼学疑义进行论议时,均不同程度地突破了先秦周制的规定与汉代经师的观点：主张庶子在父卒后为所生母服齐衰三年之服叙、出妻之子为本生出母的服叙不能因为母亲与自己绝族而有所减损、即便是为父后者为其本生嫁母也应有服。但是,对于非血缘的母子关系,两晋礼家在是否应为继嫁母或嫡出母服丧问题上所持观点与汉代经师没有多少差异。这说明在小宗法制的背景下,母子间的血缘亲情越来越被强调,而两晋礼家也从礼制上去论证为本生母服丧的合礼性,目的是为了伸张这种血缘亲情关系。

From the perspective of mourning can clearly see the degree of attention on the mother-child relationship.Ritual study researchers in Jin and the eastern Jin dynasty broke the previous＇ views when they were in discussion on the matters if the sons should wear the willow for the stepmother,divorced mother or the remarried mother.They advocated the concubine＇s son should wear the willow for three years for his mother.They also agree that the sons should wear the willow for the divorced mothers or the remarried mother.However,they agreed with the ritualists in Han and the eastern Han Dynasty on the mourning system about the mother-child relationship in nominal which had no blood relationship.These phenomena indicate that the relationship between mother and child which had blood relationship was paid more and more attention to in the small patriarchal background.The purpose that researchers proved the rationality of the son＇s mourning to his mother,who gave birth to him,was to strengthen this blood kinship relationship.
