本文基于市场化、政府变革和现代社会组织崛起的新“制度环境”研究“大学一政府一社会”三元关系形态下，中国大学外域之治转型问题。从宏观角度观照大学独特的历史文化积淀，透视附着于大学组织结构、制度框架中的组织性状，探寻大学与其外域之间存在的各种冲突和整合的价值所在，提出构建大学与政府、大学与社会、大学与市场的和谐关系，建立新型的良性互动、有机协调、有效制衡的大学治理模式，形成“政府宏观管理、市场规范调节、社会广泛参与、学校自主办学”的现代大学制度。

Based on marketization, governmental reform and ＂new institution environment＂ of modem social organization con- stmction, this paper studies external management transition issue of Chinese universities ＂under triple-relation of university-gov- ernment-society＂, tries to study unique historic and cultural accumulation of universities from macro-angle, analyzes organization properties affiliated to university organization structure and institutional framework and to explore the value of all kinds of conflicts and integration between a university and its externality, proposes to construct harmonious relation between university and govern- ment, between university and society and between university and market, to build university management model with virtuous in- teraction, organic coordination and effective restriction and to form modern university institution with ＂governmental macro-man- agement, market-normalized regulation, society extensive-participation and university autonomously-running mode＂.
