乾隆“钦定”了《四库全书》，“敕修”了《四库全书总目提要》，还“御定”了《续文献通考》。《四库提要》和《续文献通考》正式判定明末出自井中的宋郑思肖《心史》为伪书。但这只是诬陷和谎言，却迄今还在蒙骗和贻误学术界。乾隆对郑思肖相当注意，有可能看过《心史》，且还写过关于郑氏的诗。《四库全书》中更是留下了《心史》为真的大量记述。
건륭“흠정”료《사고전서》，“칙수”료《사고전서총목제요》，환“어정”료《속문헌통고》。《사고제요》화《속문헌통고》정식판정명말출자정중적송정사초《심사》위위서。단저지시무함화황언，각흘금환재몽편화이오학술계。건륭대정사초상당주의，유가능간과《심사》，차환사과관우정씨적시。《사고전서》중경시류하료《심사》위진적대량기술。
The Emperor Qianlong ＂His Majesty personally examined and approved＂ the Si Ku Quan 5hu （ Complete Library in the Four Branches of Literature） and its General Catalogue and Abstracts, as well as the Xu Wen Xian Tong Kao （Extended General Study of All Books）. The latter two books officially ruled the Xin Shi （ History in Mind）, which was written by Zheng Sixiao of the Song Dynasty and discovered in a well at the end of Ming Dynasty, as pseudography. But this is a slander and lie, yet it is still misleading the academic world today. Emperor Qianlong paid considerable attention to this book. He may have read it, and he even has poems about Zheng Sixiao. There are also abundant materials left in Si Ku Quan Shu which can be used to prove the authenticity of Xin Shi.
