Industrial heritage embodies the industrial culture that is increasingly changing and reflects the imprint of times during the evolution of civilization.With the rapid promotion of industry informatization as well as urban modernization,coupled with urban industrial layout,the original model is getting increasingly abandoned and the numerous industrial heritages are faced with the tough choice of being reserved or abolished.The key of industrial heritage protection lies in the recognition of its universal value.In terms of humanities and social sciences or from the perspective of craft aesthetics,practical utility and education,the industrial heritage is of great value function for human society.Therefore,to exploit the value dimension of industrial heritage is of great and profound significance for strengthening its protection and utilization.
