针对外文电子期刊全文数据库使用收益和效率问题，选择量化参数度量外文电子期刊全文数据库的使用，在此基础上，给出外文电子期刊全文数据库使用收益和效率的计算公式。外文电子期刊全文数据库的购买和使用被看成生产要素投入和产品产出的生产过程。基于经济学的生产函数理论，研究外文电子期刊全文数据库使用收益和效率递减规律。通过广西大学图书馆具体实例的应用，验证了本文提出模型的可行性。该实例计算结果表明外文电子期刊全文数据库使用收益和效率具有递减规律和滞后性特征。

In view of the use benefit and efficiency of foreign electronic journal full-text database （FEJFD）, quantized parameters are selected to measure the use of the FEJFD and then formulations are given for the use benefit and efficiency. Purchasing and using of the FEJFD are regarded as the input-output production process. Based on the production function theory in economics, the decline law of the use benefit and efficiency of the FEJFD is investigated. The feasibility of this model is validated by the application to the Library of Guangxi University. The computational results in this example show that the use benefit and efficiency of the FEJFD comply with the decline law and have the hysteresis nature.
