在流入地获得社会支持有利于外来务工者的身心健康、城市适应和社会融合。基于在北京、东莞、温州和青岛的947份问卷调查表明，大部分外来务工者能够在流入地获得经济和情感支持，但男性在情感支持方面严重不足；外来务工者几乎完全依赖非正式社会网络获得社会支持，极少求助社会机构；工作地的亲属和同乡网络是社会支持的主要来源，而新生代、学历较高和与家人同在打工地的人群则更容易从城市新建构的同事网络中获取支持。鼓励举家外出、提高社会服务机构对外来人口的可及性将有利于增进外来务工者在流入地的社会支持水平，进而促进社会融合。

Social support is essential to the personal well-being and social integration of the migrant population. This article, by drawing upon the survey data, examines the state quo and the sources of social support for migrant workers in Beijing, Dongguan, Wenzhou, and Qingdao. It was found that most migrants were able to seek social support in the cities where they lived, but emotional support for male migrants, however, was inadequate. Migrants relied heavily upon their informal social networks for both instrumental and emotional support and barely sought help from institutions. While kin and locality networks remained primary sources of social support for most migrant laborers, those who were younger, better ed- ucated, and migrated with family members were more likely to seek help from colleagues. To enhance further the quality of social support and social integration of migrants, it is suggested to encouraging family migration and to improving the accessibility of urban institutions for the migrant population.
