Considering the fact that the internationalization of a language will reflect its comprehensive national power, the ROK has spared no efforts to popularize the Korean language and writing. This thesis attempts to study the strategic approach to the popularization of Korean in terms of its background, starting and development, and summarize its successful experience and deficiency, hoping to benefit the spread of Chinese language and writing.
