基础科学学科的人才培养深刻影响着社会未来的发展。我国大学基础科学学科的教学状况尚不乐观。美国大学开辟STEM专门领域以发展基础科学学科,在课程教学改革、教师专业发展、教育伙伴、制度支持等方面所采取的策略,体现了“以学生学习为中心、重视培养学生探究力、在教师专业发展”等中渗透学科学习内容、将人才培养作为一项系统工程而实施的特征,为我国基础科学学科的人才培养提供了可资借鉴的经验。

The talent cultivation of basic science disciplines will profoundly affect the future development of our society. Nowadays the education of these fields in our country are not optimistic. The STEM field has been built to develop basic science disciplines in America, and strategies such as reformation of curriculums, development of faculty, setting education partnership and institutional support were implemented. These strategies demonstrate that the American university has been taking focus on improving students' learning and inquiring ability, integrating the learning content of STEM disciplines in faculty development, and implementing it as a system engineering. Significant experience is provided for the talent cultivation of our country in the same fields.
