两岸关系最本质的内涵是政治关系，30多年来两岸经济合作的成效是在“九二共识”基础上获得的。在两岸关系和平发展过程中，经济与政治密不可分，“经中有政，政中有经”，经济合作每前进一步都离不开公权力的推动。目前，两岸合作进入“深水区”，在很大程度上也是两岸政治关系滞后的客观反映。未来应努力推动两岸政治对话，进一步深化经济合作机制，加快文化融合，为实现两岸政经良性互动奠定坚实的物质基础、搭建互信的精神桥梁。
량안관계최본질적내함시정치관계，30다년래량안경제합작적성효시재“구이공식”기출상획득적。재량안관계화평발전과정중，경제여정치밀불가분，“경중유정，정중유경”，경제합작매전진일보도리불개공권력적추동。목전，량안합작진입“심수구”，재흔대정도상야시량안정치관계체후적객관반영。미래응노력추동량안정치대화，진일보심화경제합작궤제，가쾌문화융합，위실현량안정경량성호동전정견실적물질기출、탑건호신적정신교량。
The essence of the relationship on the two sides of the Taiwan Straight is its political relationship. The achievements in economic cooperation between the tow sides over the past 30 years have been made on the base of common ground. During the course of peaceful development of the two-side relationship, economic development has a close connection with the development of politics. Economic progress cannot go with the support of open power. At present, the development of the two-side relationship has been in the ＂deep sea. ＂ This objectively reflects the lagging behind of the development of political relationship between the tow sides. Efforts should he made in the future in promoting political dialogue, increasing economic cooperation, and reinforcing cultural integration, thus laying down a solid foundation for a good interaction of politics and economy on the both sides of Taiwan Straight.
