The historical comparative method provides a new paradigm for the study of university - oriented teacher education. University orientation is inevitable for teacher education in China. Issues to be dealt with in the process include such aspects as taking the road of integration, making good academic preparation, forming high - quality research teams and dealing well with the relationship between reference and local experience.
