2011年4月．大同市考古研究所抢救性发掘了一座砖砌古墓（编号M1）。Ml位于大同市东风里东街北侧，东距大同火车站约1公里（图一）。墓葬周围为居民区，地势较平坦，慕室建在距现地表1．5米以下的细沙与河卵石混杂的沙砾层中。墓葬出土器物不多。但壁画保存完整，较为重要，现将发掘情况简报如下。
2011年4月．大同市攷古研究所搶救性髮掘瞭一座磚砌古墓（編號M1）。Ml位于大同市東風裏東街北側，東距大同火車站約1公裏（圖一）。墓葬週圍為居民區，地勢較平坦，慕室建在距現地錶1．5米以下的細沙與河卵石混雜的沙礫層中。墓葬齣土器物不多。但壁畫保存完整，較為重要，現將髮掘情況簡報如下。
2011년4월．대동시고고연구소창구성발굴료일좌전체고묘（편호M1）。Ml위우대동시동풍리동가북측，동거대동화차참약1공리（도일）。묘장주위위거민구，지세교평탄，모실건재거현지표1．5미이하적세사여하란석혼잡적사력층중。묘장출토기물불다。단벽화보존완정，교위중요，현장발굴정황간보여하。
In April 2011, Datong Municipal Institute of Archaeology conducted a rescue excavation to a brick single-chamber tomb in circular plan on the north side of the Dongfengli East Road in Datong City. This tomb consisted of the passageway, the corridor and the chamber. Very few grave goods were unearthed from this tomb, but the murals in it were well preserved. The unearthed grave goods included the stone bust of the tomb occupant, the bronze signature seal, porcelain sherds, etc. The wall of the tomb chamber was fully decorated with murals, the total area of which was 15 sqm. The motifs of the murals are the daily lives of the tomb occupant and his family and the procession of saddled horses and camel-drawn carriages, and so on. The motifs of the murals and the unearthed grave goods suggested that the date of this tomb would be the late Liao Han people with higher social status and religious Dynasty and the tomb occupant would belong to the beliefs.
