The bridge engineering course is an important professional course in civil engineering especially in road and bridge specialty. To improve the teaching effect of bridge engineering course and stimulate students' enthusiasm and participation activity, diversified teaching methods including the expansion method, the participation method and the discussion method were proposed combined with modem teaching methods and extensive network resources.
