One of the best writers of all the Dukes of Yansheng during the Qing Dynasty, Kong Chuanduo was good at verses （ Shi ）, ditties （ Ci ）, songs （Ge） and odes （Fu）. Most of his verses depict things and scenes and sing of ancient events, highlighting the presentation of images and the expression of feeling and emotions, and advocating the pure and fresh, and the natural in style, whereas his ditties, with a broad range of topics, give priority to the pleasant in a tender and elegant style. His argumentative writings vividly reflect his insistence on the position of Confucian culture and his political identity. His literary creation clearly represents the literary style and aesthetic pursuit of the writer group of Dukes of Ynasheng of the Qing Dynasty.
