眼动研究在国外心理学研究中已有一百多年的历史，广泛运用到阅读、交通、教育、医学等领域。在国外，眼动法引入翻译研究始于20世纪80年代，因其具有较高的生态效度，最近几年为翻译过程研究者广泛关注。本文首先概述了眼动研究在国内外的应用，然后追溯眼动法与翻译过程研究相结合的历史、阐释二者结合的理论基石并分析其意义，接着归纳了眼动法在翻译过程研究中所涉及的主要内容及常用的相关眼动指标，文章最后进一步展望该方法在翻译研究中的发展趋势。

Eye-movement research, with over 100 years in psychological studies in the West, has been applied widely in different fields such as reading, transportation, education, medicine and many other fields. The earliest eye-tracking in translation research started in 1980s, and this technology has attracted increasing attention from scholars of process-oriented translation research for its sound ecological validity. This paper firstly gives an overview of research applications of eye-tracking technology at home and abroad, and summarizes what has been achieved, and then it introduces some frequently used oculomotor measures in current eyetracking experiments in process-oriented translation research. The article concludes with a discussion on the prospects of this method in future translation process research.
