通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和x射线能谱分析仪等方法,对巫山县四件表面装饰黄色和银白色铜器进行检测分析。实验表明秦汉时期峡江地区鎏金铜器本体多数为红铜质,系热锻而成;金属镀层采用了汞鎏金和汞鎏银的工艺,形成了厚度较均匀的镀层。实验结果为研究峡江地区铜器的制作工艺及中国汉代鎏金和鎏银工艺发展水平提供了重要的资料。

Copper wares decorated with golden and silvery design were analyzed by scanning elec- tron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX). The results indicated that main part of copper wares were made of rose copper by means of hot forging and metal coating were dealt with gold gilding and silver gilding technology. These findings supplied important information to realize the manufacture of copper wares and the development of gold gilding and silver gilding in Chinese Han Dynasties.
