自近代以来，实现中华民族伟大复兴的“中国梦”，激励和鞭策着无数的中国仁人志士为之付出艰辛的探索和努力。“中国梦”无论从内容或形式都经历了不断丰富和发展的过程。其一是向西方国家学习，以摆脱半殖民地、半封建困境；其二是“走俄国人的路”，以实现社会主义革命目标；其三是在曲折中探索，以推进社会主义现代化建设；其四是实行改革开放，以开创中国特色社会主义事业；其五是坚持科学发展，以实现中华民族的伟大复兴。“中国梦”的发展既是对历史上追梦的继承，又是对历史上追梦的超越，并在这种继承与超越的矛盾运动中不断前进、不断升华。
