清末民国时期基督教在西南民族地区的传播，在少数民族群众中形成了较大规模的“归化基督运动”，对信教少数民族法律文化产生深远影响。在这些影响中，最重要的是法律文化深层结构的变化，主要体现为生命权、财产权、平等权、人格尊严和文化权等权利意识的觉醒及其带有的基督教文化特征。这种变化“由里及表”推动行为规范、纠纷解决等法律文化表层结构的变化，形成信教少数民族基督徒群体意识与认同的重要力量。

The dissemination of ChristianiW in the southwest part of China, where had been mainly inhabited by minority ethnic groups during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, brought about the Movement of Naturalization of Christ, which had a profound impact on the legal culture of minority groups, and led the changes of inner structures of legal culture, manifested by the awareness of rights to life, property, dignity and culture and the Christian characteristics. The above mentioned changes promoted the innovation of the code of conduct and dispute resolution gradually and eventually, playing an important role in mutual identification and formation of sense of community among Christians from minority ethnic groups.
