事件背景类时间复句可以分为同时性、先时性和后时性三类。先时性事件背景类时间复句的特点是，以时间分句所述事件作为参照点，正分句所述事件先于它发生。这类复句最主要的标记是“已经”，它用于正分句，从而形成“VP1，已经VP2”的基本句式。这一句式包括“等（到）VP1，已经VP2”、“刚（刚）VP1，已经VP2”、“（还）没（有）VP1，已经VP2”、“正VP1，已经VP2”等下位句式。
事件揹景類時間複句可以分為同時性、先時性和後時性三類。先時性事件揹景類時間複句的特點是，以時間分句所述事件作為參照點，正分句所述事件先于它髮生。這類複句最主要的標記是“已經”，它用于正分句，從而形成“VP1，已經VP2”的基本句式。這一句式包括“等（到）VP1，已經VP2”、“剛（剛）VP1，已經VP2”、“（還）沒（有）VP1，已經VP2”、“正VP1，已經VP2”等下位句式。

The event-grounded compound sentences of time can be classified into three types：the anterior, the simultaneous and the posterior. The characteristic of the anterior event-grounded compound sentences of time finds expression in the event reference of the clause of time while the event of the main clause occurs before that of the clause of time. The primary indicator of such compound sentences is ＂yijing （already）＂, which is used in the main clause to form the basic sentence pattern of ＂VP1 and yijing VP2＂. This sentence pattern includes different sub-structures of VP1 and VP2.
