祭祀圈原本是一个产生并发展于台湾民间信仰研究的概念,后经学者引入用于大陆乡村社会的研究.文章以潮州所城的田野资料为基础,将祭祀圈概念与地域认同相关联,探讨所城村落共同体的形成与祭祀圈信仰组织之间的关系,描述所城祭祀圈的民间信仰仪式对村落认同的加强和巩固,以及在祭祀圈的影响下村落共同体的生产.在现代快速的社会变革下,所城的村落共同体不仅没有消失,反而依靠着祭祀圈的存在而延续了下来.

Sacrifice Circle is a concept which was originally produced and developed in Taiwan, and introduced by scholars for mainland rural society research later. This article is based on the material from field work in Suocheng Village, Cha- ozhou City, connects the concept of sacrifice circle with regional identity; meanwhile, investigates the connection between the formation of village community and sacrifice circle organization ; descripts the strengthening and consolidating of village community brought by rituals of sacrifice circle and the production of village community. With the rapid social change, the village community of Suocheng Village has not disappeared. On the contrary, it exists relied on the operation of sacrifice circle.
