题材与意象的结合是少数民族文学生态叙事研究的根本命题，它指涉情节、人物以及世界三个层次。满都麦不仅书写故事，书写生态状况，尤其是以蒙古族文化意象悦纳、镶嵌题材，以蒙古民族文化原型熔铸人物塑造，以民间传说和历史记载嫁接生态叙事，描述了工业社会的荒诞和罪恶，阐发了民族文化精神及人性观点，试图实现人与世界、人与历史、人与自然神性诗意关系的修复。

The combination of theme and image is the basic proposition of the study on ethnic minority ecological texts. It includes three levels of plot, character and the world. In his novels, Mandumai not only writes stories but also describes ecological conditions. He uses Mongolian cultural images in creating themes, prototype of Mongolian culture in creating characters, and folk tales and historical records in creating ecological narration. His novels not only describe absurdity and sin of industrial society, but also explicate cultural spirit of ethnic groups and views of human nature, trying to repair divine poetic relations between man and the world, man and history as well as man and nature.
