二十世纪初中国边疆地区少数民族精英分子的主体性或族群认同的建构,昭示出中国近代史上民族国家创建过程中“中心/边缘”、“中央/地方”二维关系中多元和复杂的互动过程.本文以1930年代西康建省过程中康区三次大的事变（“巴塘事变”、“诺拉事变”和“甘孜事变”）为例,说明康区地方性和族群性构建过程中“中心/边缘”的互渗和与西康地方军政当局的竞斗关系,从而消解惯习的西方概念中“中央/地方”的对立分析.

During the early stage of 20th,Constructions of subjectivities or ethnicities by minority elite on Chinese frontiers revealed multiple, complex and dynamic relations between state and local, or center and peripheries in China＇s modern nation building process. Based on three events of the Khams pa Tibetans in the Xikang Province building process in the 1930s,this paper challenges the rigid Western dichotomy of the state-local by highlighting the center and periphery hybridity in building the Khampa locality and identity, and a contested relation.
