中国农村居民旅游的发展是缩小城乡二元结构、构建和谐社会的重要途径，促进了旅游业的可持续发展。在农村居民旅游发展和研究现状分析的基础上，将尺度运用到农村居民旅游发展研究中。尺度由时间尺度、空间尺度、属性尺度、实践尺度和方法尺度的5个维度构成，中国农村居民旅游研究以农村居民旅游者为研究主体，以农村居民旅游者与环境相互作用为研究基础，以农村居民旅游的可持续发展为研究目的，以村落、区域（国家）、全球一地方的空间尺度为研究脉络，将时间、属性、实践与方法尺度镶嵌和隐匿在空间尺度中，构建了农村居民旅游者、农村居民旅游的区域差异与发展和全球一地方联结下的农村居民旅辨定展的三层研究体系。

Tourism development of China＇ s rural residents conforms to the social and economic development trends, is an important way to diminish urban-rural dual structure, promote urban-rural integration development and build a harmonious society, also advances sustainable tourism development. Based on tourism development and re- search status of rural residents, scale can be applied to the tourism research of rural residents aiming at the lack of perspective of tourism study. Under the perspective of scale thinking, scale consists of five dimensions, namely, temporal scale, spatial scale, attribute scale, practical scale and methodical scale. Tourism research on China＇ s rural residents takes the tourists of rural residents as the research subjects, takes interaction between tourists of ru- ral residents and environment as the research foundation, takes the sustainable tourism development of rural resi- dents as the research purposes. The research system takes spatial scale which includes village, regional, national and the global-local spatial scales for the research context, at the same time, embed and hide temporal scale, at- tribute scale, practical scale and methodical scale in spatial scale. On the basis of the above research ideas, the paper builds a three-tier research system which is made up of the tourists of rural residents, regional tourism differ- ences and development of rural residents, and tourism development of rural residents under global-local nexus.
