中国大学英语学习者在词汇和语法层面上已具备了一定的水平，但在语篇衔接方面仍然存在着问题。本文以Quirk等人对英语连接词的分类为基础，将所要研究的连接词分为7类。从中国学习者英语语料库（CLEC）和英语国家语料库（BNC）中选取部分语料进行对比，探讨了中国大学生英语写作中连接手段使用的情况。研究表明，中国大学生和英语本族语者在7大类连接词使用频数上存在着差异，中国大学生倾向于过多使用连接词，但在连接词的类型上较单一。

： Although Chinese college English learners have developed a certain level of vocabulary and grammar, they have difficulties in textual cohesion. This paper, based on the categories of Quirk et al. ＇s, classifies conjunctives into seven types. The corpora discussed in this paper are selected from Chinese Learner English Corpus （CLEC） and British National Corpus （BNC）. The research purpose is to investi- gate how Chinese college students use conjunctives in their writings. The results suggest that the conjunc- tive frequency of seven types in Chinese college students＇writings are different from native English speak- ers＇. Chinese learners show a general tendency to use more conjunctives in their English writings, but fe- wer types.
