山南地区贡嘎县桑日县段雅江北岸出现的连绵不断的沙丘,是该区一个很严重的环境沙漠化问题。为研究该地区沙丘的成因和发展趋势,利用前后跨越11年间的三期TM、ETM及ETM+遥感影像,对沙丘及沙脊线进行目视解译,得出1999--2003年沙丘面积由61.86km2增长到65.10km2,平均移动速度为1.61m/a,沙丘扩张趋势较快;2003年到2010年沙丘面积则由65.10km2减少到62.74km2,平均移动速度为1.18m/a,沙丘的扩张趋势逐渐缓慢,但仍未得到完全控制。综合分析得出,山南地区沙丘扩张的驱动因子主要为地质环境、自然环境和社会环境,该研究为山南地区提供了环境预警信息。

The uninterrupted dunes are a serious problem of environmental desertification at the Yarlung Zangbo River in Shannan Prefecture (Gonggar County-Sangri County). In order to study the causes and development trend of the dunes, this paper adopts TM, ETM and ETM+ remote sensing images spanning 11 years for visual interpretation of the dunes area and Sand ridge line, and estimates that from 1999 to 2003, the dune area increased from 61.86 kmz to 65.10 kmz , the average moving speed was 1.48 m per year, and the expansion trend of dunes was fast. While from 2003 to 2010, the dune area decreased from 65.10 km2 to 62.74 km2 , the average moving speed was 1.18 m per year, and the expansion trend of dunes became gradually slow, but had not been fully controlled. It is concluded by integrating all the data that the major causes of the dune expansion are geological environment, natural environment and social environment. The research has provided information of environmental early warning for Shannan Prefecture.
