为了考察英语专业基础阶段实施内容依托教学课程体系的教学效果,本项研究以英语专业一、二年级学生为研究对象,依托准实验研究,对教学实验前、后的测试数据进行了定量分析。实验研究表明,与实施传统的以技能训练为导向的课程体系相比,实施内容依托教学课程体系对学生的学科知识测试成绩起到了非常大的促进作用;对学生的英语语言知识和英语语言技能测试成绩在多个方面产生非常积极的影响,而且在语言教学方面展示了巨大的潜力。从测试成绩来看,英语专业实施内容依托教学课程体系效果积极,且能够更好地实现教学目标,展示了英语专业基础阶段实施内容依托教学的可行性。

A quasi-experiment was conducted to study the effect of CBI ( Content-based Instruction) curriculum for the first- and second-year English majors with a pre-test and a post-test as data collection instruments. The quanti- tative analysis indicated that the CBI curriculum signifi- cantly improved students' performance in subject matter tests, and it produced positive impacts in many aspects of language knowledge and language skill tests, revealing its great potential in developing students' language compe- tence. According to students' performance in tests, the effect of implementing CBI curriculum was positive, and it helped to achieve the objectives of the national curricu- lum more effectively than the conventional SOI( Skill-o- dented Instruction) curriculum, revealing the feasibility of implementing CBI curriculum for English majors in the lower division of their uniersity study.
