大学文化研究从容观主义向解释主义范式与方法的转移,对于大学文化研究者和大学管理者具有重大的启示意义.结合马林诺斯基的文化静态论、文化动态论,以及我国学者对高校社会作用的描述的“适应说”与“引领说”,大学文化在社会文化大环境包围之下,应当发挥其主观能动性,有所为有所不为,创造性应对社会文化带来的机遇与挑战.管理者还应当高度重视倾听广大师生的心声,凝聚共识,尊重差异,共同建构开放、包容、多元、和谐的大学文化.

The paradigm and method for the studies of university culture has been shifting from objectivism to interpretationism, which is a significant enlightenment to university culture researchers and university administrators. Combining Malinowski' s Static & Dynamic Theory of Culture, together with the Adaptation Theory and the Guiding Theory, which were used by Chinese scholars to describe the social roles of universities, the author explains that universities culture, under today' s macro- social & cultural environment, should bring their initiatives into full play, do something useful but leave something undone, and creatively cope with social & cultural opportunities and challenges. University administrators should also be good listeners to teachers and students, build consensus and respect differences, thus creating an open, inclusive, multiple and harmonious university culture.
