运用文献资料、对比分析等方法,对当代武术进行研究,认为和谐即保持时尚传统化与传统时尚化是其核心理念.首先,当代武术发展既不能毫无原则地一味迎合大众的趣味,也不能抱残守缺地固守已有的传统.应尽量将内蕴的民族传统因子通过国际化的制作手法体现出来,让武术作品既充满浓郁的中国文化特色,又不失现代艺术气息.其次,当代武术（以竞技武术与传统武术为例）要想长久、和谐发展,应不断地在传统因子与时尚元素之间进行调整,使两者始终保持应有的张力,做到既有创新又不媚俗,既能愉悦观众又不降低品位.

The study used literature review and comparative analysis to explore the development of contemporary Wushu, indicating that harmony, i. e. , maintaining the tradition of fashion and the fashion of tradition is the core concept of contemporary Wushu development. First of a11, the development of contemporary Wushu can neither cater to popular taste without any principles nor stick to the existing tradition with an anachronism. Intrinsic traditional factors should be reflected by international production methods as far as possible so that Wushu works may not only have strong Chinese cultural characteristics, but not lose the atmosphere of modern art as well. Secondly, contemporary Wushu should adjust itself between traditional factors and fashion factors and a proper tension be maintained in order for a long harmonious development. Thus an innovative yet no kitsch development is achieved which can entertain audience on one side and do not downgrade its taste on the other side.
