作为晚清的“中兴名臣”，曾国藩一直受到世人的积极关注。其中，有关他的档案意识的研究也有不少成果。文章在前人研究的基础上，探讨曾国藩档案意识的形成主要是源于家族耕读文化思想、弘扬传统文化、政军需要等方面。其档案意识经历了萌芽、形成和成熟三个时期，萌芽时期受耕读文化思想影响，主要体现在对资料典籍的收藏上；形成时期侧重于对档案文献的收集与管理方面；而成熟时期则侧重于对档案文献的藏用并重及编纂与利用。

As the most popular official with great contributions in the late Qing Dynasty, Zeng Guo- fan has caught the eyes of the current people.There has also been some remarkable results in the study of his consciousness about archive. On the basis of previous studies, the thesis analyzed that the ideologi- cal origins of Zeng Guofan archival consciousness mainly form from family tradition＇s inheritance, the polit- ical and military affairs＇ needs and traditional culture＇s heritage these three aspects. His ideas has experi- enced three periods of germination, development and maturation. The period of germination is affected by the consciousness of farming and reading culture,which is mainly shown in the eollection of ancient books; the developing period is more concentrated on the collection and management of archive documents and the mature period is apt to the compilation and utilization of archives.
