医学是中俄早期文化交流的重要内容。俄国人自17世纪便开始了对中国的医学理论、医疗体制、医学教育以及医疗方法的认识历程，撰写了一系列介绍文章和研究论著。19世纪中期俄国政府组织权威专家运用现代科学方法对中药进行了临床试验、药学描述和化学成分分析。俄国人搜集的大量珍贵的中医典籍至今保存在俄罗斯科学院、俄罗斯国立图书馆和圣彼得堡大学等机构，成为清代中俄医学交流的实物见证。

Medical science was an important part in early periods of communication between China and Russia. Since the 17th century, Russians had begun their studies of Chinese medical theory, medicare system, medical education and practice, with rich serial papers and books in production. The Russian government organized authoritative experts in conducting clinical experiments, depicting medical theories and testing the medical ingredients by methods of modern science in the mid-19th century. Collections of rare Chinese classical works on medicine are still kept in Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian State Library and Saint Petersburg State University. They are material proofs of medical communication between China and Russia in the Qing Dynasty.
