群众信访工作是我国解决人民内部矛盾的制度创新,它在我国社会主义的发展进程中起着不可或缺的重要作用.信访工作是群众工作题中应有之义;用群众工作统揽信访工作是目前化解矛盾的重要手段;用群众工作统揽信访工作需要有新思路,一是在健全群众工作网络上想办法创新,做到全方位联系群众,二是在完善群众工作职能上下功夫创新,做到全方位服务群众;三是在健全群众工作机制上尽全力创新,做到全方位帮助群众;四是在改进党员干部工作作风上寻突破,做到全方位融入群众.
