以占海特“异地高考”事件为经验材料，讨论社会化媒体如何通过“可见性”拓展了公共领域的内涵与意义：新媒体环境中的传播现实，打破了将媒介视为提供信息、生产现实、达成共识的功能性机构的惯常理解；社会化媒体展现的可见性，使话语导向的“理性言说”和视觉导向的“自我表演”得以整合，从而充分展现出差异化的话语，并使得差异合法化，不但拓展了公共领域的内涵，也在某种程度上颠覆了传播、媒介与社会的关系；传播由社会结构中的一种功能转化为构成社会的基础要素。

This paper aims to discuss how social media expands the meaning and significance of public sphere through the concept of ＂visibility＂. By exploring the Weibo posters against the education and household registration system launched by a teen girl Zhan Haite, this paper argues that the spread of new media has already broken the usual understanding of social media as functional agencies that provide information, produce reality and make consensus. Instead, by showing visibility, social media expands the connotation of public sphere, and also somehow subverts the relations among communication, media and society as communication changes from a functional element of the social structure to a fundamental element that constitute the society.
