文华图书馆学专科学校（简称“文华图专”）研究部对文华图专的师生、校友等科研力量进行了组织，对文华图专的教学与科研起到了良好的促进作用。文华图专研究部创设于该校合作研究的传统之下，并作为其特有的行政组织于1932—1949年前后发挥作用。研究部通过对毕业论文的指导和组织学生探讨学术专题来辅助课堂教学，促进了《文华图专季刊》的发展，也为文华图专丛书的出版提供了支持，并专门在《华中日报》上设立了“图书与文献”专栏。文华图专研究部在教学与科研的结合、组织合作研究和沟通在校师生与校友等方面给予了当今以启示。

By organizing teachers, students and alumnus as a team for library and archival science re- search, Boone Library School（BLS）Research Department promoted the teaching and research of BLS. Re- search Department was profound under the tradition of research cooperation, and played a role as a special administrative organization in the school from 1932 to 1949. It assisted the c[asses through the guidance to thesis and discussion of the academic topics. It made efforts on improving the BLS Quarterly, gave strong supports on the publication of Series of BLS and established the column of BOOK AND LITERATURE in Central China Daily. The contribution of BLS research department gave inspiration for the library education today, from aspects of combining teaching and research, organizing collaborative researches and communi- cating teachers, students with alumni.
