笔者采用随机前沿方法（SFA）,对我国15家城市商业银行2007年～2011年的X效率进行了测评,并就跨区域经营对上述银行X效率的影响进行了实证分析.研究表明,跨区域经营可以提升城市商业银行的X效率,但是这种影响并不显著,这可能与我国城市商业银行跨区域发展的历史相对较短有关.同时,实证数据显示城市商业银行的存贷比与其X效率间存在着显著的正向关系,表明城市商业银行跨区域扩张过程中,提高资产管理能力有助于提升其X效率.

Based on the Stochastic Frontier Approach, the paper measures X-efficiency of 15 city commercial banks from 2007 to 2011, and makes an empirical study on the inter-regional expansion effect on the city commercial banks＇ X-efficiency. We find out that inter-regional expansion can help to increase banks＇ X-efficiency, but the effect is not significant. The reason probably is the short his- tory of inter-regional expansion in city commercial banks. Results also indicate a significant positive relationship between bank loan-to- deposit ratio and X-efficiency. It suggests that city commercial banks can increase X-efficiency by improving asset management capacity.
