钓鱼岛是中国的固有领土,这是无数历史文献所证明的.钓鱼岛的历史文献,散见于中国的古籍中,尤其是明清时期中国出使琉球的使臣记述中,以至于当时的琉球王国的许多重要文献也原本转引,可见琉球人的文献对钓鱼岛的认识源于中国的文献.这些都充分说明钓鱼岛最初是中国人首先发现、命名的,是中国人最早经营和利用钓鱼岛资源的.钓鱼岛主权属于中国是一个不争的事实.

Diaoyu Islands are inherent territory of China. It has been proved by myriads of historical documents. These documents may be seen here and there in Chinese ancient literature, especially in Ming and Qing Dynasties＇ envoy memoirs, and even many important documents of Ryukyu Kingdom may be quoted from the originals. Therefore, it may be seen that in Ryukyu inhabitants＇ documents, their cognition of Diaoyu Islands must be originated from the Chinese documents. This fully proves that it is the Chinese who first discover and name the Diaoyu Islands and it is the Chinese who first administer these islands and use the resources. That Diaoyu Islands＇sovereignty belongs to China is an indisputable fact.
