受“全球化”的显著影响，地域建筑文化在不断推进的城市化进程中面临着传承、保护与更新发展的诸多现实挑战和问题。以新型城镇化为视角，分析地域建筑文化发展现状，包括古建筑保护、历史老街区保护、传统城市格局与风貌保护、新建筑的地域文化精神体现等诸多方面状况，通过对“新型城镇规划与地域建筑文化保护”、“新型城镇建设与地域建筑文化传承”、“新型城镇的城市文化营造与地域建筑文化更新发展”等方面内容的研究，提出与新型城镇化发展相匹配的地域建筑文化发展策略，达到与新型城镇化同步和谐发展的目标，弘扬与发展本土建筑文化。

Regional architectural culture in the current development of the high - speed urbanization faces such challenges as inherit- ance, protection and development. From the perspective of new - type urbanization, this paper analyzes the current development of re- gional architectural culture, including the protection of historic buildings and streets, the traditional urban structure and landscapes as well as the embodiment of local culture in the new buildings. The projects like ＂New Town Planning and Protection of Regional Archi- tectural Culture＂, ＂Construction of New -type Towns and Inheritance of Regional Architectural Culture ＂ and ＂ Construction of New Urban Culture and Renewal of Regional Architectural Culture ＂ can help further the development strategies for the balanced develop- ment of the new - type urbanization and local architectural culture.
