认同是关于“我是谁”的反思，主要与主体的所作所为对于自身需要满足所形成的“我具有什么意义”相联系。作为价值关系之纽结的个体必然与一定社会价值观念相联系，从中安置人生价值之“根”。个体在认同的两个环节中实现“自我延伸”，从而“确立和论证自身”，于是对社会价值观念的认同不是向外的而是向内的。人的尊严决定了认同中的自愿原则和利益原则。在个体认同的相互作用中形成共识。社会价值观念中所体现的人文精神时代特征是由认同转化共识的根据。“重叠共识”为多元社会价值观念中的个体认同转化为共识提供了两个方向相反的有益启示。对于社会主义核心价值体系的共识是社会主体认同的意志表达。

Identity is the reflection on ＂who I am＂. An individual, as a knot in the value relations, must be associated with certain social values, in which his value of life is rooted. An individual achieves ＂self-extension＂ in the two links of identity, then ＂establishes and proves himself＂, therefore, identifying with social values is inward instead of outward. Human dignity determines the voluntary principle and the principle of interest. The interactions between individual identities lead to consensus, which is achieved on the ground of human spirit of the times embodied in social values. Overlapping consensus provide helpful revelations in two opposite directions for individual identities in multiple social value systems to transform into consensus. The consensus on socialist core value system is the expression of the will of major social identity.
