明清时期全国出现了众多有女性文人群体出现的文学家族，其中以江南环太湖流域分布最为集中，这与环太湖流域独特的自然、人文地理环境具有密切的关系。据统计，环太湖流域共有35个文学家族出现了女性文人群体，她们以家族为依托，在家族浓厚的人文环境氛围的熏陶之下成长，创作了诸多文学作品，其中以诗、词为主。明清家族女性开始从闺内吟咏走向闺外唱和，与家族外的文人进行交往，扩展了她们文学生活的范围。并在家族内外文人的帮助之下，出版了诸多女性文学作品集，使家族女性文学作品得到了广泛的传播。明清环太湖地区家族女性群体作为一种独特的文化现象和社会现象，对太湖地区整个人文空间的形成，对整个明清女性文学的发展具有不可忽视的作用和价值。

There were quite a few family-based female groups of writers in the Ming and Qing dynas- ties in China, of whom most were in Taihu-Lake area due its unique natural and cultural surround- ings. According to some statistical data, there were 35 such families whose female writers created quite a few literary works, mainly poems and poetic prose. They firstly wrote about their family life and then learned from other writers for broadening their vision in literary creation. Their publications as a unique cultural and social phenomenon reflected their literary themes and mirrored their life and work in that period, which played a crucial role in helping the formation of the cultural atmosphere in Taihu-Lake area and the overall development of the feministic literature of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China.
