作为盛唐山水田园诗派的代表诗人，王维、孟浩然并称，但他们的诗作在思想意识、审美情趣、表现手法等方面均存在明显的差异。这些差异的产生和二者的身份、经历、心态、审美偏好、艺术修养等的不同均有深厚的关系。就诗歌史地位、影响而言，孟浩然显然要远逊于王维。

As a representative poet of landscape pastoral poetry in the tang dynasty, Wang wei and Meng haoran has the same reputation,but their poems still have obvious differences in ideology, aesthetic temperament and interest and the technique of expression. And this difference has a deep relationship with their different identity, experience, attitude, aesthetic taste and artistic accomplishment, for the Poetry history status and influence, Meng haoran is obviously far less than Wang wei.
