本文试图以美学的角度从三个方面对林黛玉“情情”之美加以阐释，即“情情”的自然之美、极致之美和悲剧之美。“情情”的自然之美，阐释了林黛玉“情情”具有禀赋的特质，是“情中之情”；“情情”的极致之美是“情情”在与现实发生冲突时，表现出至真至诚的深情之美，是“情外之情”}在“情情”的悲剧之美中，借助西方的悲剧理论展现出“情情”的升华和超越现实的崇高生命力，是“情上之情”。

The substance of A dream in a red mansion is analyzing the affection ofdifferent characters, （the first chapter） Lin Daiyu is an embodiment of the affection. This thesis are aim to analyze the aesthetic of Lin Daiyu~ s natural and pure emotion,the extremely aesthetic which revealed in A dream in a red man- sion, and a tragicaesthetic when the affection exterminated. Especially to explore the contradictionbetween the innate feeling and the reality in A dream in a red mansf on, and a specialaesthetic generated by overwhelming reality.
