With the deepening of researches into exercise sciences, the importance of promotion of skeletal muscle is in- creasingly recognized and demanded. Skeletal muscle is closely related to mitochondrial quality control, the abnomality of which might lead to muscle cell damage and muscle atrophy. It is important to enhance mitochondrial quality control in skeletal muscle through exercise and mimetics. This review focuses on the progress in regulation effects of exercise on mi- tochondrial quality control of skeletal muscle, and puts forward countermeasures.
