《温家宝谈教育》一书不仅比较全面地反映了温家宝同志的宏观教育改革思想，也集中展现了他的课程教学改革思想。他提出，要全面落实素质教育，深入推进课程改革；不断创新教学方法，注重启发式教学；大力倡导学思结合、知行统一；重视农村学校和职业学校教学改革；均衡配置教学资源，深入推进教材改革。这些论断对进一步深化我国课程教学综合改革都有十分重要的意义。

Since the 16th CPC National Congress, China has witnessed great achievement in curriculum and education reform, for instance, free textbooks in both urban and rural areas, the reliability of compulsory education, the promulgation of ＂Education Program＂, the attainment of 4% budget on education, which have made remarkable achievements in China＇s education reform in a century. During one decade in office as premiere, Wen Jiabao paid high attention to the development of education reform. All the achievements mentioned above are due to Wen＇s commitment and intelligence in many years. Wen Jiabao on Education not only reflects Wen＇s thoughts on education reform comprehensively, hut also is a reflection of his reform ideas on curriculum and education. It is pointed out by Wen that the government needs to implement quality education and promote reform of curriculum deeply. Schools and teachers need to teach with creative methods and use heuristic education. We also need to advocate the combination of learning and thinking and unity of knowing and doing, attach great importance to education reform in rural schools and vocational schools and balance allocation of educational resources and further promote the reform of teaching materials. These have great significance on further promotion of comprehensive educational reform in China.
